Bio

I was born near Detroit, MI in 1976.

Until I was about 5 years old, we lived in Warren, MI, one street from 8 Mile Rd.  I attended Max Thompson Elementary School.  We moved around 1982 due to my Father's death.

My mother and I ended up moving in with my "Uncle", in St. Clair Shores, MI where I attended Princeton Elementary School.  While in 2nd grade, in 1984, the Detroit Tigers won the World Series.

From there my Mother and Uncle decided to move to Florida.  We lived in Seminole, FL which is near Tampa.  There I attended Madeira Beach Elementary School and also Wellington Elementary School.

Somewhere in this time period, we lived with my sister for a brief time in Detroit, MI.  I can't quite recall when.

After Florida did not work out so "hot", my Mother and I moved back to Warren, MI.  During this period, I attended Carter Middle School for 6th and 7th grades.

After that short stint, we moved to Center Line, MI with my Uncle again.  Here we stayed a while.  I attended Wolfe Middle School for 8th grade and then Center Line High School for grades 9-12.  Somewhere in the time-period, my Uncle decided to go back to Florida.  It may be due to my neighbor Chad and myself terrorizing the poor guy with the garage door opener.  We'll never know, I guess.

Also somewhere around this period we live with my sister in Detroit again.  Don't recall the exact timing.

Around age 19, I was introduced to the automotive safety testing business, which in my opinion, is one of the leading causes of vehicles' high cost.  You wouldn't believe what testing labs charge automotive companies for testing of components, just because they can.  I was even offered money once to make a certain component pass a test.  I did not accept it nor did the component pass.  In my "Automotive Testing" years, I worked at MGA Research Corporation, Faurecia Automotive Seating, ACT Laboratories, ArvinMeritor and Primetime Testing Lab.  I did this for about 10 years and was actually quite good at it.

During a layoff.  A friend of mine showed me an online Scrabble site.  Geeky, yes I know, whatever.  On this site is where I met my beautiful wife, Jackie.  She lived in Wisconsin and I in Michigan.  With no job, some other problems and nothing really holding me back, I moved.

Which brings us to current times.  Right now, I'm a welder, at Walker Group Holdings or Brenner Tank as it's more commonly known.

I've met three famous people in my life, which is sad.  Hulk Hogan in Florida, Brett Michaels in Wisconsin and Dennis Rodman in Michigan.

I've been to Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Illinois, Florida, Wisconsin, New York, Arizona and California.

The only other country I've visited is Canada.  I don't really count that as it was about 20 minutes to get to.  I've probably visited about 50 times, was stopped and searched about 5 times and kicked out once.  I can say that I have the honor of being told to leave a country.
