You have probably contemplated many reasons to homeschool your children. Some of your reasons may revolve around medical problems, lifestyle, or a better education.

Many parents are compelled to homeschool for religious reasons. Christian homeschooling has become very popular, since parents like the idea of both influencing what their children learn and imparting strong Christian values.

The public school system doesn't focus on teaching values any more. You have the opportunity to do that yourself when you homeschool.

If you are a Christian and considering Christian homeschooling, you may want to think about a few things. First of all, if the intolerance of your religious preference in public school is troubling you, this might be a good decision.

When you teach in your own home, you have the freedom to speak about God and the Bible. You don't have to fear being criticized for just uttering "God" or "Christian."

This may not automatically be a good reason to start homeschooling your children. One of the benefits of letting Christian children attend school is that they can interact with people of all beliefs and set a good example. They can show people what Christians are really like.

Also, there are even Christian private schools that incorporate Christian values and doctrines in their curriculum. Unfortunately, schools like these tend to be expensive. Fortunately, Christian homeschooling is a solid option.

You might be motivated by other reasons to homeschool your child. You may want to protect them from unsafe schools, or you may not want to have to force them to change schools all the time if your family is in the military.

If you find that your reasoning for homeschooling fits into a couple of categories, it is definitely an option you might want to consider.

If want to homeschool your children, Christian homeschooling is a great option, especially if you want to instill values into their education. There are many support groups that can help you decide on curriculum.

There are support groups that can support you on an emotional level, and there are support groups that can give your children opportunities to socialize.
