State of Emergency in Fond du Lac
June 12th, 2008 | by Walter |I moved from Detroit around three years ago to Fond do Lac, WI and have never seen rain and storms like this. 75% of the roads in the area are closed and a State of Emergency was declared minutes ago.
There is about three inches of water in our apartment’s basement, which by the way, our landlord and maintenance person will not do anything about. So if ever looking for an apartment in Fond du Lac, WI, don’t choose the Hazen Court Apartments, they don’t seem to really care. One out of three sump pumps are working and the one that is, is working poorly.
I work five minutes from home and it took an hour to get here after they sent everyone home do to a very long tornado warning.
This situation seems to be worse that even having a snow emergency. Snow you can relocate, where do you pump water? Especially more that 55 million gallons of it?
So, having fun here in Wisconsin…. God I miss Detroit….
